Gugu Gaga Penguin: Parkour is a casual mobile runner game where you guide a cute penguin through icy obstacle courses. It is available only on mobile devices through the Google Play Store. The game is free to download, which is great. However, there are in-app purchases for cosmetic items and power-ups. Most players, including me, find the ads a bit annoying, but they are optional if you pay a small fee to remove them.

The gameplay is simple. You tap the screen to make the penguin jump or slide to avoid blocks of ice and snow. The best part is the smooth controls. They feel very responsive, which is key in a fast game. My favorite part is the endless mode. You try to survive as long as possible while the speed increases. It is very addictive. I often try to beat my own high score. The graphics are bright and fun. The penguin's animations are also very charming. It is not a deep game, but it is perfect for killing a few minutes.

Compared to Subway Surfers or Temple Run, this game is much simpler. Those games have more complex mechanics and 3D graphics. Gugu Gaga Penguin is more like an endless jumper game. It feels closer to Flappy Bird but with better movement. I recommend this game if you want a very casual game that is easy to pick up. It does not require much time or brain power. It is good for young kids too because of the cute theme and simple controls.
