Google Chrome: Fast & Secure is a web browser app designed to help you browse the internet quickly and safely. I use it on my phone all the time. It launched a long time ago for computers and then came to phones, and you can get it on both Google Play and the App Store. It has billions of installs on Google Play alone, which is crazy. The app is completely free to download and install, and you don't even need to register an account to start using it, which I love because I hate making new accounts. It doesn't have any annoying in-app purchases to unlock basic features, which is great. You will see some ads on websites you visit, but that's the websites' ads, not from Chrome itself. Chrome itself doesn't show you pop-up ads for other apps or anything like that.

A real user tip from me: if you sign in with your Google account, all your bookmarks, history, and saved passwords sync across your phone, tablet, and computer. This is a lifesaver. It's also really handy for quickly translating web pages; Chrome often asks if you want to translate a page if it's in another language. I use it almost every day to read news and shop online.
