I found this app on Google Play about six months ago when I was looking for a simple way to keep track of my work and personal errands. The app launched in 2020 and is available on both Google Play and the App Store. It has over 10 million installs on Google Play alone, which shows how many people find it useful. The download is completely free, and you do not need to register to start using it. There are no forced sign ups or logins, which I really appreciate. The app does have ads, but they are not too annoying. You can remove them with a small in app purchase if you want. There are also some extra features you can unlock through in app purchases, but the free version works perfectly fine for basic task management.
Using To Do List is very straightforward. When you open the app, you see a clean screen where you can add tasks by tapping a plus button. You can set due dates, add notes, and even set reminders so you do not forget important things. I use it every day to plan my grocery shopping, work deadlines, and even my workout schedule. One tip I have is to use the priority feature. You can mark tasks as high, medium, or low priority. This helps me focus on what really needs to get done first. Another tip is to use the search feature. When your list gets long, just type a keyword to find a task fast. The app also lets you swipe to delete or complete tasks, which makes it feel smooth and easy to use. I also like that you can organize tasks into different categories. This way, work tasks are separate from personal ones.
Compared to other similar apps like Todoist and Microsoft To Do, To Do List stands out because of its simplicity. Todoist has many features, but it can feel overwhelming for someone who just wants a basic list. Microsoft To Do works well if you are in the Microsoft ecosystem, but it pushes you to sign in. To Do List from Splend Apps does not require any account, so your data stays on your phone. That is a big plus for me. I also like that the interface is not cluttered. Some apps have too many buttons and menus, but this one keeps things simple. The app loads fast and does not crash, which is important when you are in a hurry. I chose this app over others because it feels like it was made for real people who just want to get things done without extra hassle.

Cons
- ⚠️ The app could use better backup options. If you switch phones, your tasks do not sync. Apps like Todoist offer automatic cloud sync, which would be a nice addition here.
- 🔊 More notification sounds would help. Currently, there are only a few options. Other apps let you pick custom sounds, which makes reminders more personal and noticeable.
