TuneIn Radio is a streaming app designed to help you listen to live radio stations, podcasts, and music from all over the world. I use it almost every day. It's basically like having a giant radio that can pick up stations from any city or country. You can find news, sports talk, music of every genre, and tons of podcasts. The app launched a long time ago and is available on both Google Play and the App Store. It has over 100 million downloads on Google Play alone. You can download and install it for free, and you don't need to register an account to start listening, which is great for quick access. There is a free version with ads, and a paid Pro version that removes ads and gives you some extra features like recording live radio. I started with the free one to see if I liked it.
Using the app is super straightforward. When you open it, you can browse by what's live now, search for a specific station or show, or explore by music genre, talk, or location. I love that I can listen to my hometown's news station even though I live far away now. A simple tip from a regular user: use the 'Favorites' feature.
