PictureThis is a nature & plants app designed to help you identify plants using your phone's camera. I first heard about it from a friend who loves gardening, and I decided to give it a try. The app launched a few years ago and is available on Google Play and the App Store. It has over 50 million installs on Google Play alone, which shows how popular it really is. You can download the app for free, but you need to create an account to use all features. There are in app purchases if you want the premium version, and there are some ads in the free version. The main idea is simple: you take a picture of any plant, and the app tells you what it is. It also gives you care tips, watering reminders, and health checks for your plants. I use it when I see a flower I don't recognize during walks or when my houseplants look sick.

Using PictureThis is very easy. You open the app, tap the camera button, and take a photo of the plant. Within seconds, the app shows you the name and some useful facts. If my plant looks unhealthy, I can use the plant health check feature. It tells me what is wrong and how to fix it. One simple tip I have is to take clear, close up photos of the leaves or flowers for better accuracy. I also use the reminders to water my plants on time.
