You will also see ads, typically for bonus rewards, but they are not overly intrusive. It's primarily a mobile game, though you can sometimes find versions for social platforms.

You play as an airport manager and city mayor. Your main job is to build and expand an airport with runways, terminals, and control towers. At the same time, you construct a city around it with houses, shops, and factories. The best part is sending planes on flights to real-world destinations. You collect passengers and cargo, then dispatch planes to earn coins and special items. My favorite part is completing flight collections. When you send enough planes to a region, you finish a collection and get a unique building or a big reward. It feels like a real achievement and makes your city look cooler.

Compared to similar games like SimCity BuildIt or Township, Airport City has a stronger focus on aviation. SimCity is more about general urban planning, and Township is about farming and goods production. Airport City mixes both city-building and a detailed flight system. If you enjoy management games and love airplanes, this game is perfect. I recommend it because the flight mechanics are deep and satisfying. It offers a long-term progression that keeps you engaged for months.
