Geometry Dash World is a rhythm-based platformer game developed by RobTop Games. It's available on mobile devices through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, and also on PC via Steam. The game is free to download on mobile, but it contains ads and offers in-app purchases for icons and other cosmetic items. The PC version on Steam is a paid game. This is a side-scrolling game where you control a square-shaped character, jumping and flying through levels filled with spikes, obstacles, and traps, all perfectly timed to a high-energy soundtrack.
You play by tapping the screen (or pressing a key on PC) to make your character jump. A second tap in mid-air makes it fly or change gravity. The goal is simple: get to the end of the level without hitting anything. The best part is the incredible feeling when you finally beat a level you've been stuck on for hours. The music and the gameplay become one, and nailing a difficult sequence is super satisfying. My favorite part is finding my own rhythm in the chaos. After many tries, you start to feel the level instead of just seeing it, and that's when you really start to fly through the obstacles.
If you've played the original Geometry Dash, this feels like a great expansion with new icons and fresh levels. Compared to other tough platformers like Super Meat Boy, this game is all about music and flow. It's less about precise platforming and more about memorizing patterns to the beat. I recommend Geometry Dash World to anyone who likes a challenge and great music. It's perfect for short play sessions on your phone, but be warned, it can get very addictive trying to beat your best time.
