CookieRun: Kingdom is a mobile strategy RPG game where you build a kingdom and lead a team of cookie characters into battle. It's available on both iOS and Android through the App Store and Google Play. The game is free to download and play, but it includes optional in-app purchases for premium currency, special items, and battle passes. You will also encounter ads, but only for optional rewards like extra gems or energy; there are no forced video ads interrupting gameplay.

You play by managing two main areas: your kingdom and the battlefield. In your kingdom, you build and upgrade structures like cookie houses, factories, and landmarks to produce resources. On the battlefield, you form a team of five cookies, each with a unique class like Defense or Ambush, and fight in real-time battles. The best part is the team strategy; you need to balance your cookies' skills and time their special abilities to win tough fights. My favorite part is collecting all the different cookies. Each one has a fun design and story, and figuring out which ones work best together is really satisfying.

Compared to similar gacha games like Genshin Impact or Arknights, CookieRun: Kingdom is much more colorful and lighthearted. It's less about complex combat mechanics and more about cute characters and kingdom management. If you enjoy games where you can collect characters, build a town, and see constant progress without too much stress, I highly recommend this one. It's perfect for casual play but has enough depth to keep you engaged for a long time.
