The app has over a million installs which shows that many people are using it. You do not need to register to start a call, which I really like because it saves time. It does have in app purchases and you will see some ads while using it, but the basic features work well without paying anything.
When you open the app, you just tap the start button and it connects you to a random person. You can swipe to skip someone if you feel like moving on. I usually use it when I am bored at home or waiting for something. My tip is to use good lighting and a strong internet connection because the video quality matters a lot. Also, if you want to avoid awkward silence, just start with a simple hello and a smile. Many users are friendly and open to talking, so do not be shy. The app also has a text chat option in case you do not want to turn on your camera right away.
There are other apps in this space, but Video call Elssa feels simpler and less complicated. Compared to apps like ChatHub or Random Cam, I find this one easier to use and the connection speed is usually faster. The interface is clean and not crowded with buttons.
